I have had several devices like this and they always took so long that it never seemed like I was making much progress so I eventually just got out of the habit of using them. After a couple of years, the hair that I had made progress with started growing back in. So I dug out my devices and even though some of them were barely used, they were all dead. I’d seen this advertised once on Instagram so I thought I’d check it out since it said it worked with professional tech (different sapphire filters for each body part). I balked at the price and then thought that price might actually keep me using it. I’m a big girl with PCOS so I can’t do my whole body in one sitting. I’ve just been working on areas that are particularly troubling to me. I am STUNNED!!! In less than 3 weeks, just using it 3-4 times a week, the super fast-growing, thick hairs are all but gone. I’m already able to start on new areas of my body. Those other devices I had took months to be sure they were actually doing anything. The device itself does not get hot thanks to a powerful fan and that the part that touches your skin never gets hot thanks to the ice effect system. I use it on the highest setting and have never had any irritation of any kind. When I started, I was doing maybe 6”x 6” areas. Today I did my face, underarms, chest, and entire fat leg using the sapphire filter that correspond in any case! It does work SO MUCH faster than the other devices, even on its highest setting which is supposed to be the slowest setting. I really expect to have this horrid hair problem that has plagued me for decades under control by the end of the year. Unlike the other devices and even of the other models of this same brand, this doesn’t say how many flashes remain, I suppose because it comes with 950,000 pulses and it is impossible to run out! I don’t believe these things completely kill the hair follicles since I have had regrowth from the other devices, although the power (24 J/cm2!) of this device is much superior than the others, but after so many years of struggle, I won’t mind at all some occasional maintenance.

For reference, I have PCOS and have been struggling with facial hair for over 20 years, and it’s only gotten worse.
